Turn-to
is the great great grandsire of Devil His Due. Turn-to was the Co-Highweighted
Colt as a Two Year Old of 1953 and the Highweighted Colt at Three in 1954.
In a short eight race career, Turn-to won six races, The Garden State
Stakes, The Saratoga Special, The Flamingo Stakes, two allowance races and a
maiden race. Turn-to was second in an allowance race and third in the
Hopeful Stakes, a race in which he bucked his shins. Turn-to is a son of
Royal Charger who was by Nearco out of a half sister to Nasrullah. His dam
was a half sister to Ambiorix and a half sister to the dam of My Babu.
Turn-to truly had a sire's pedigree to go with his superb race record and
fabulous physical appearance. Turn-to was an excellent stallion siring,
Champions Hail To Reason and First Landing as well as stakes winners Sir
Gaylord, Cyane, Waltz, Sally's Ship and Captain Gig. Turn-to is the
broodmare sire of Horse of the Year Ack Ack.

is the great grandsire of Devil His Due. Hail To Reason was Champion Two
Year Old of 1960 winning the Youthful, Great American, Sanford, Sapling and
Hopeful Stakes (by 10 lengths while setting a track record) while earning
$328,434 before a fractured sesamoid ended his career. Hail To Reason was
impeccably bred, being out of Acorn Stakes winner Nothirdchance. As a sire
Hail To Reason was an immediate success. He sired 43 stakes winners
including Horse of the Year and Preakness winner Personality, Champion
Handicap Mare Straight Deal, Champion Two year Old in Ireland and Epsom
Derby winner Roberto, Champion Two Year Old Filly Regal Gleam, French
Champion Hippodamia, Kentucky Derby winner Proud Clarion, Belmont Stakes

Halo
is the grandsire of Devil His Due. Halo, an impeccably bred colt being out
of a stakes winning half sister to Natalma, dam of Northern Dancer, was a
solid racehorse winning The United Nations Handicap-G1, Tidal Handicap-G2,
Lawrence Realization, Voters Handicap and was 2nd in the Bernard Baruch
Handicap-G3, Lamplighter Handicap, and 3rd in the Jersey Derby, Dwyer
Handicap, Jim Dandy Stakes and Oceanport Handicap-G3. Halo was know as an
outstanding Turf Horse but showed good quality while racing on the dirt.
Halo showed his ability to sire great dirt horses and topped the North
American Sire's List in 1983 and 1989. The sire of the winners of over

of 1983 when he was unbeaten as a two year old winning the Champagne

won three out of four races including the Derby Trial Stakes and the
Flamingo Prep. Devil's Bag is impeccable bred being a three quarter brother
