On October 23, 2002, while in O'ahu, Hawaii, my wife Mary
Ann and I got a chance to swim with the Dolphins at the Kahala Mandarin
Oriental Hotel, an event run by the staff at Dolphin Quest. This is
something that I can heartily recommend to everyone that may get the
opportunity to get in the water with these very smart inhabitants of our
oceans. We are pictured here giving a hug to Hi'iaki, a darling 14
year old Female Dolphin who is very sweet and extremely fast.
It is said that if People were inhabitants of the oceans
we would be Dolphins. Maybe if Dolphins were inhabitants of the land,
they would be People. Think about it. |
