Dr. Edie is a nationally renown Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
Most recently, he served as a
Professor and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson
University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Edie was formerly on the staffs of
Columbia Presbyterian and Babies Hospital in New York City and the
University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Edie Received his M.D. from the Columbia
College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1965, completed surgical
residencies at Roosevelt and Columbia Presbyterian Hospitals in New
York City, and subsequently practiced for 30 years. He is a member
of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for
Thoracic Surgery, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the New York
Thoracic Surgical Society and the Philadelphia Academy of Surgery.
