You Never Know When You are Meeting a Future Star

George Bush, the forty first President of the United States once said, "There is every reason our relations with China should grow and prosper in the years ahead because it is important to both countries, strategically, culturally and economically."

I believe that it is important to be a good ambassador when I travel to foreign lands.  I like to meet people and I am always especially friendly when I get a chance to greet the children of another culture.

I met this Chinese boy on the Great Wall of China, near Beijing.  He was with his mother and we took this picture together.  His mother told me his name was Yao Ming and that he would grow up to be big and strong if he listened to his mom and ate the right foods.

Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, " The only way to have a friend is to be one."
