STRATEGIC JACQUE - 2007 Colt by STRATEGIC MISSION out of JACK BETTA BE RITE (NY Bred) - Priced at $125,000 plus expenses.  

STRATEGIC JACQUE is half brother to stakes winner Grey Comet and to stakes winner Caribbean Cruiser. 

The highly honored Stakes Winning Race Mare and Matriarch JACK BETTA BE RITE (Watch the Video of Jack Betta Be Rite winning the Schenectady Handicap - November 20, 1990)  is already the dam of three racehorses that have each earned more than $100,000 on the racetrack. 

As stated above, STRATEGIC JACQUE is a half brother to the Stakes Winner Grey Comet (5 wins in 8 starts, $365,455) winner of the Count Fleet Stakes-L plus three other stakes victories and a second in the Grade 3 Gotham Stakes.  STRATEGIC JACQUE is also a half brother to New York Futurity winner Caribbean Cruiser (click to go to stallion page) an earner of $279,452 with two other stakes wins and two stakes placings. Jack Betta Be Rite, an earner of $350.959 was named the 1990 Champion Three Year Old Filly in New York and is the winner of 10 of her 15 starts whose victories include the New York Breeders' Futurity, Schenectady Handicap and 5 other New York Stakes races plus 3 second place finishes in other stakes races.  Jack Betta Be Rite is honored in New York at Belmont Park and Finger Lakes where stakes races are named for this exceptional race mare and producer. 

Graded Stakes winner, Strategic Mission, a son of Grade Two Stakes winner Sultry Sun is a half brother to millionaires and Grade One Stakes winners Sultry Song ($1,616,276) and Solar Splendor ($1,386,468).  Strategic Mission, the sire of this colt being by none other than the great Chef-de-Race Mr. Prospector, demonstrated his sire power ability in his very limited first crop by siring racing millionaire Showing Up ($1,660,500), winner of the Grade One Secretariat Stakes and Hollywood Derby and other stakes winners.

TOKEN SACRIFICE - 2007 Colt by GOLD TOKEN out of MOTHER'S SACRIFICE by DIXIE BRASS (NY Bred)  - Priced at $80,000 plus expenses 

This colt from the now deceased multiple stakes winning mare Mother's Sacrifice, herself an earner of $209,718, is sired by the also deceased Gold Token, a well regarded sire by Mr. Prospectors.  Mother's Sacrifice is a daughter of the Cormorant mare, Genuine Attraction an earner of $87,695.  The second dam is the  $190,381 earner and stakes winner, Strike Us Rich, winner of the New York Oaks, Niagara Stakes and 2 other stakes races who was place in 3 other stakes races. 

The Package of the 2007 colts by Strategic Mission / Jack Betta Be Rite and the Gold Token Mother's Sacrifice is Priced at $205,000 plus expenses.  These two yearlings are both sired by established sons of Mr. Prospector and are both from excellent New York Stakes winning dams.

MARSH DAWG - (2006 Gelding by Gold Fever out of Five Buck Marshall by Spectacular Bid).  Gold Fever the sire of Marsh Dawg.  Gold Fever is a son of the highly acclaimed Mr. Prospector Champion, Forty Niner.  The regally bred Gold Fever is the sire of many stakes winners including Four Time Canadian Champion and Sovereign Horse of the Year A Bit O'Gold ($1,888,155) and the brilliantly fast Grade Two Stakes Winner Gold Mover ($1,523.010).  Marsh Dawg post several black type work outs and was turned out to mature and is being point to make the races in early 2009.  On May 5, 2009 Marsh Dawg worked 47.4 second fast of 20 horses at Finger Lakes in just his third workout back.  He is close to racing.

Five Buck Marshall is an earner of $73,710 and the dam of Marsh Dawg.  Five Buck Marshall is a daughter of $190,381 earner and stakes winner, Strike Us Rich, winner of the New York Oaks, Niagara Stakes and 2 other stakes races who was place in 3 other stakes races.  Strike Us Rich is the dam of Genuine Attraction an earner of $87,695 and the dam of New York Breeders Futurity and Lady Fingers Stakes winner Mother Sacrifice who was also second in the New York Oaks.
