ABOUT STAR TRACK STABLE

Star Track Stable was started in 1960 and has raced for nearly a half century.

The extensive backgrounds of the team members provide co-owners with a highly experienced group of individuals and with a strong focus on integrity and community service both in the equine community and the business community.

THE STAR TRACK STABLE TEAM

Peter Winston, Managing Partner

Peter Winston was born December 1968 and since Star Track Stable was already active, it can be said that he was born into the thoroughbred business. Peter would attend the races with his grandmother, grandfather and father as a small child, a tradition that Peter has passed on to his own wife and children.  Peter has a true passion for the business. In looking at the various successful Star Track runners, you can see from the pictures in our Gallery that this is a true family affair.

Peter Winston is the President and CEO of MegaTech, a company that offers a wide variety of high-technology Radio Control products that are extremely user friendly and ready to use right out of the box. MegaTech offers airplanes that really fly; micro submarines that truly submerge; cars and trucks with mini transmissions and suspensions that realistically function. Peter's Executive experience truly provides Star Track Stable with superior management and true attention to detail right at the top.

Marshall G. Winston, Senior Advisor

Star Track Farms has been breeding & racing New York thoroughbreds from 1966 through present day.  Based primarily at Finger Lakes Race Track, Star Track Farms has raced up & down the East coast over the years.  Outstanding winners over the years include Tanyuska and Unforseen in the 1970s, Strike Us Rich, Jack Better Be Rite, and Mother’s Sacrifice in the 80’s and Charioteer’s Wand, Grey Comet and Caribbean Cruiser in recent years.

For more than four decades, Marshall Winston has interacted with the racing community, especially in the Empire State and processes exceptional practical horseman's knowledge regarding a variety of facets of the racing community. Additionally, Marshall has constantly enhanced his knowledge of bloodlines and pedigrees and is exceptional in his understanding of breeding to race, enabling and assisting the Winston Family to continue to breed and develop high quality racing stock.
